History and The Globe

Until 2016 GAPA published The Globe, a journal with current alcohol policy issues and research.

The Globe has been replaced by GAPA’s online Newsletter.

GAPA General Assembly adopts new structure

(3 September 2024) After 24 years of operation, GAPA has taken a next step to adjust the organisational structure. Today GAPA held its Constitutive General Assembly that adopted the new structure with the intention to create an association under the Swiss Civil Code.

Global Alcohol Policy Alliance early history

GAPA was formed in 2001. The formative years, up to its inauguration, are recounted here.
